Buzzfeed Project
The objective of this social media project was to create content on Buzzfeed.com, promote the post, and reach a specific target market. The primary goal was to generate 1,000 views over the span of 2-weeks from the start of the post being published.
I underestimated the actual effort of promoting my BuzzFeed post to reach 1000 views. Surpassing the goal, I accumulated 1027 views within those 2 weeks. I grossed the most views (605) from direct messages, text messages, and Reddit posts. Pinterest and Twitter were not as effective when trying to reach my target audience. In the end, I used other websites and blogs outside of my original distribution plan to reach people, such as the site 'Stumbleupon'.

Genre Project
This English project was a multigenre paper. The project required me to conduct research on marketing aspects and share these ideas with an audience through an effective communication vehicle. Students had the option to reach a genre audience through blog, website or a paper. A multigenre paper is composed of many genres and subgenres, each piece self-contained, making a point of its own, yet connected by theme or topic and sometimes by language, images, and content. My blog spot is focused on the genre of marketing and current subgenres of marketing such as brand advertising for Apple Music.
The best way I can describe a multigenre paper is to say that each piece in the paper utilizes a different genre, reveals one facet of the topic, and makes its own point. The paper is a collage of writing and artistic expression with an overarching theme that encompasses and informs the reader. The image above is linked to my blog.
Main Street Yoga Studio Mentor Project
A group of young marketers and I named "Infinity PR" revamped a local yoga business by reconstructing their memberships, social media calendar, apparel, slogan and more. The company struggled to bring in new clientele and hold an established presence on social media.

The primary goal for our integrated marketing mentor plan is to increase attendance at Main Street Yoga in classes among existing customers. This campaign includes other objectives as well as strategies and tactics that would help us reach our overall goal. We also included a budget and timeline to help further this goal.

Executive Summary
Focusing on Main Street Yoga’s goal to increase commitment with existing customers and memberships, Infinity PR took a different approach of focusing on the retention of current clients.
After thorough research, Infinity PR found that creating relationships with clients can increase
attendance and membership. We also found it is more cost-effective to focus on clients rather than
reaching out to new clients. Current clients tend to be more loyal to the company and will return to
the studio. We believe it is important to create this relationship with them because of the benefits and customer relationship that Main Street Yoga has to offer.

Our research included reaching out to other authentic yoga studios around the state to have
a better understanding of the relationships between yoga studios and their current customers. We
analyzed other studio’s memberships to gain insight on what potential customers are looking for and what
works best for the studios. We found that client retention is heavily based on their experiences
with specific instructors. In addition, we discovered the two most common types of memberships
for studios are 6-month and 1-year memberships.
With all the research collected, Infinity PR created two main objectives to increase attendance and
membership.
∞
Objective 1: To increase attendance at Main Street Yoga in classes among existing
clients by 50% by May 31, 2017
∞
Objective 2: To increase membership at Main Street Yoga among existing clients by 33%
by May 31, 2017
The campaign includes an open house, bring a friend to class, streamline the membership program, as well as other ideas.
We want to turn existing clients into committed members. We will not play it safe for you, we will
play it smart. We ask you to value those around you.
